Australian clean technology developer MCi Carbon held a foundation ceremony on April 10 for its carbon capture and utilization plant ‘Myrtle’, currently under construction at Orica’s Kooragang Island site. UCLA’s research team is once again at the NCCC to expand on its initial product testing. In addition to the concrete masonry units (CMU) that were successfully demonstrated in 2021, two more use cases – segmental retaining wall (SRW) and concrete manhole (CM) products – will be demonstrated.
